First Ever Literature Festival In
the city of Ram Raja, ORCHHA
The city of Ram Raja, a historic and religious center in Madhya Pradesh, Orchha, will host the first-ever literary extravaganza for writers and readers of all ages. The show’s panel discussions and symposia on literature, biographies, stories, technology-driven books, academics, cinema, engaging poems, fiction, and other topics typically not included in traditional literary festivals promise here to be popular and interesting. The three days festival in its debut release will be tied in with facilitating a festival that tends to the social necessities and goals of individuals from Bundelkhand, a generally quiet piece of the country. This was the urgent need to incorporate the true value of literature and heritage into mainstream knowledge centers.

Rudrani Bundeli Kalagram Evam Shodh Sansthan, a philanthropic organization established in 2019 by Susmita Mukherjee, a prominent film and television artist, author, and entrepreneur, and her husband Sh Raja Bundela, a prominent film artist, social activist, and politician, will host the Orchha Literature Festival. Rudrani Bundeli Kalagram primarily focuses on promoting the rich heritage of Bundelkhand and provides opportunities for those who are interested in learning

MS SUSMITA MUKHERJEE
Susmita Mukherjee, who has also gone by the names Susmita Bundela Mukherjee and Susmita Devi, was born in New Delhi on August 20. She is best-known for her portrayal of the role of Kitty in the detective TV serial “Karamchand.” She started her career in the early 1980s. Mukherjee has done more than 60 films. Apart from being an actor, Susmita is also a writer, screenwriter and author. She is an alumni of Jesus and Mary College, University of Delhi. She enrolled herself in the National School of Drama in 1980, following the completion of her post-graduation studies. Susmita is the owner of Natak Mandali, a theater group, and the author of several books, including Baanjh, Mee, and Juhy Baby.

About Orchha
Orchha falls in Niwari district of Madhya Pradesh and is bordering UP and MP. The newly coined Virangana Laxmibai Jhansi station is nearest to this place. This beautiful city was founded by Bundela chief Rudra Pratap Singhwho was also the first king in the 16th century. A silent city yet it is very famous for its temple and architecture. It is also known as the city of Lord Rama, and here, other than Ayodhya, Rama is worshipped as King of Orchha. The present time also Lord Rama is regarded as the only King and a guard of honour is given everyday by the Police at Ram Raja Temple. Orchha is on the serene banks of Betwa River and most of the architecture has Chattris commonly known as Cenotaphs. Orchha Literature Festival is conceived to popularise this beautiful place to people of India and abroad to understand the heritage and historical value of this place.
